久仰 Gloomy Sunday (布達佩斯之戀) 這部電影的大名，但到最近才有機會觀賞。
Gloomy Sunday 是部德語片，描述二次世界大戰期間，發生在布達佩斯的一女三男之間的關係。一女是位美麗的餐廳女侍 (Ilona)，三男則是猶太裔餐廳老闆 (László)、餐廳琴師 (András)、德籍餐廳客人 (Hans)。除了這四角關係外，電影的情節還有兩條副軸：一是 “Gloomy Sunday” ── 一首由餐廳琴師所譜，傳說中會令人想自盡的曲子；二是在一部二次大戰時期有猶太人、德國人的電影裡，想當然會有的納粹迫害猶太人情節。
Gloomy Sunday 是一部具藝術美的電影；景色美，場景美，色調美，音樂美，女主角的臉蛋兒美，女主角的胸部也美。至於故事，則是美麗、醜惡、黑暗兼具。
Gloomy Sunday 這首歌有許多不同語言的版本，其中英文歌詞似乎至少有兩個版本。其中一個版本比較受歡迎，已有不少歌手詮釋過，包括 Billie Holiday 和 Sinéad O’Connor。下面 MV 是電影片尾曲，是節奏較「輕快」一點點的版本，由 Heather Nova 演唱。如果有讀者聽了還是有輕世的念頭，請洽生命線、心理諮商師、精神科醫生等等 ── 我是很認真的。

比莉姨的版本我不敢聽。
以前曾聽 Billie 唱 I’m a fool to want you，心想「媽呀，這女人唱的有夠悲」，聽了真覺得人生無望，怎麼這麼要命的該死，比莉姨的聲音硬是具有這種悲苦的魔力。
雖為三大爵士女伶，Billie太苦，而 Ella太甜，所以喜歡Sarah Vaughan多些。
感謝Mrs.Dsn手下留情，Heather Nova版不會讓我變 Gloomy Monday:)

我在 iTunes 聽了比莉阿姨的 30 秒試聽後，就決定不買她的版本，免得聽完全曲後會想去死一死。

I just realized that I actually have that song in my iTune, but it is Sarah Brightman’s version. I love that song, it’s just so beautiful. The music is just so… simple, so pure, and definitely gives you the chill. Billie Holliday’s version is just classic, she definitely made the song alive. Don’t worry about me, I don’t want to kill myself yet. School is stressful, but not quite that stressful. ;) Take care.

Her voice is quite haunting. I’ve shed enough tears over her music. Mr. DSN would be very mad at me if I were to shed some blood over her Gloomy Sunday.
